...or Brian Scotch depending on who you ask. In fact, you may better know me as Louis, Lowenbrau or Scrappy.
It's pretty simple. I love my wife, my dog, and spicy food. I grew up in here in the Great Northwest near Seattle, Washington, and settled down in Bothell, where Christie and I bought our first home.
When I'm not building the next version of Windows at Microsoft (buy Vista now), I spend my time with family and friends. Nothing fancy required: fire up the grill, head to the bar, play a little poker, or sit down and watch the game or the latest movie.
But, if you get me out of the house, let's go crabbing off Samish Island, trout fishing at Fish Lake, or golfing at Wayne, Jackson, or Willows (handicap 48+). Or maybe we'll head to the cabin, enjoy the fresh mountain air, and pop over to Leavenworth for wine tasting and brats at Gustav's. I'm in.
On Thursday nights it's soccer year 'round--go Ligers! I spend my Saturdays in the Fall tailgating at Husky games (go Dawgs!), and the rest of the year waiting for basketball and baseball to end. Give me a vacation to Hawaii over Mexico, but I'd love to travel the world. I don't think my brief trip to Prague and Munich counts for much--damn good beer though!
One of these days I'll get around to raising a family. You'll know when. There'll be a whole pile of pictures. Until then, I'll show you what life was like before they arrived. :)
